Today as I was looking around in need of something inspirational, I happened to come across this poem by Kathy Kane Hanson, titled ‘I have learned’. I hope that you find it as insightful as I did.

I’ve learned – that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them.

I’ve learned - that no matter how much I care, some people just don’t care back.

I’ve learned – that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.

I’ve learned – that it’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts.

definately a suprising book! settled in with the assumption that it was going to be yet another societal class drama and then pow, it launches a devastating and gripping storyline!

i was totally enaged by the characters and moved by the simple truths that the story conveyed. If you havent read this book then i suggest you do!!
